Connecting now for life
The first stage of the conversion of the Connect09 campaign into an ongoing program has begun with the launch of the slogan ‘Connect for Life’ and a new logo.
Archbishop Jensen announced in his presidential address last year that the Connect09 ‘active campaign’ would continue until Easter 2010 and that efforts would be made to embed the principles of community contact into ongoing activities.
Jesus at the Easter Show
As part of the Jesus. All about life campaign, the Bible Society (in partnership with Connect for Life) have organised a stand at this years Royal Easter Show.
Christian volunteers are being called-on to man the stall throughout the duration.
Volunteers will be required to chat with people who visit the stall and help to hand out thousands of Connect for Life Marks Gospel, the story of Easter pamphlets and Jesus stickers, we pray that through this non-Christians will find meaningful engagement with Jesus and the word of God.
