Register for the BIG DAY IN
The Big Day In telecast / web cast will go out live at 10am Sunday February 8th 2009. It will run for 50 minutes and feature live music, videos, interviews and an address by Archbishop Peter Jensen.
Churches have several ways to integrate the program with the flow of Sunday services, either substituting the BIG DAY IN for a normal service or re-arranging existing services around the 10am time slot.
Some churches are moving all services to a larger premises to view the program with all congregation members present. It will be helpful to organisers if you could indicate which option you are considering. More information will follow in coming weeks.

Prayer
The Connect09 prayer
Hi,
love the idea of the big day in - sounds exciting.
Three questions:
1. Exactly what technology will we need - and will we be able to test it out beforehand - esp. for digital broadcast. High def? Standard def? Normal receiver? etc, etc.
Answer: If you are in the Sydney area - you can probably receive the Australian Christian Channel telecast via Digital TV. (digitial standard def receiver or set-top box needed). If outside that - there will be a website address and a help desk. Minimum will be a 200 kbps data stream. Angliconnect will provide further details.
2. I dowloaded the rego form - where do we send it?
Answer: The details are now on the website article. Send forms to the Connect09 office.
3. When do we find out the format of the service? Can we use our own music and switch over to the Archbishop’s address at a particular exact time? I think we might still like to have our own prayer times and music, etc. A program for the day will really help us plan and know what to expect.
Answer: The format will be published. There will be opportunity for prayer time and music outside the main broadcast which will last 50 minutes. 10 -10.50 am Sunday Feb 8th
Thanks again for all the hard work of everyone involved - our Parish is very excited about all of it.
Cheers!
