The Missional Church
This little explanatory video clip hit You Tube 2 weeks or so ago. It has already received over 11,000 hits - which people who know tell me is quite a few in the time.
I don’t hold a PhD in missiology or anything, but from the reading I have done this very accessible (ie simple) explanation of the missional church pretty much hits the mark.
At the heart of Connect09 was the realisation that if over half of the community don’t have meaningful connection with either a church or a Christian, we must find new ways to build new connections into the community, and be more intentional about the ones we already have (like SRE!).
So, after a year of praying, thinking and planning… and a year of connecting and expecting… how are we doing?
